Just as a FYI, below is a “scratch pad”, unofficial list of known vacancies and empty lots in downtown Batavia. It’s a snapshot of the current situation and doesn’t include any in-progress development plans or reflect the great work and investment already accomplished.

We recently learned at the recent City Council meeting that the former Olmstead property on Wilson Street will be for sale in October. This is a great opportunity to renew a property that has arguably been untouched for decades.

The accompanying map outlines what is commonly known about downtown vacancies and lots. We plan to update it with more details, such as square footage, as we get them.

Feel free to call out any misses or provide commentary.
